TENTATIVE RULES
Those racing in Super Late Model class will
be allowed to run our present Good Year tire for a faze in period. I will
release time when available.
Same applies for
Crate class. To receive National points you will have to be UMP Crate legal.
Any UMP Crate Legal car will receive 4 extra points, no matter where they
finish. Any Late Model with a Legal E-Mod engine, may run in this class. Must
use restrictor plate and will go by E-Mod claim and tear down rule.
Effective 2009 all engines, tires, etc, will be as per
UMP Rules
These
Crate Rules are new, but I believe they are here to stay and I will do my best
to enforce rules
Crate
and Super Late Models may have to run together until we have enough for two
classes. I will try to keep them separate in Heat Races if possible.
As
far as purse pay goes, when classes are combined , we will use Super Late Model
purse and give crate pay for highest pay of either Super or Crate, depending on
his finish. Example if the highest racing Crate finished 5th when
running in combined class with Super Lates, he would receive $400 – which is 1st
place money for a crate. Since the UMP Super Late Models and UMP Pro Late Model
classes are new at Spoon for 2008, all drivers will start with zero season
points in these two classes.
