E-Mod Rules

             In addition to regular rules, all rules will be same as UMP Modified      [Except no quick change and]

 

Engine: No 400 or after market blocks   Numbers must be clear for identification   [Chev 23 Degree only]

         365 Cubic Inch Maximum with cast iron heads.   Restrictor plate required for both alcohol and gas engines

         During cubic inch inspection, driver will be required to remove rocker on cylinder to be inspected and

         engine must spin over freely when being pumped. 

         No aluminum heads or blocks, roller cam, or magnetos.

         May use screw in studs, stud girdle, roller rockers, aluminum intake, and after market exhaust.

         Roller Rockers must use 3/8 or 7/16 standard rocker studs on GM engines.

         Restrictor plate required with 1 inch thick Moroso Spacer # 64930 or # 64940, or a spacer of equal design,

         on all cars, regardless of their finish.    Equal design means 1 inch thick with holes equal in size top to

         bottom. No trick spacers, such as funnel designs, etc.  No turtle in intake.  $10 deposit required on track

         furnished plate refundable at next years rule meeting if driver wishes to return it. Top five finishers of

         Feature subject to full inspection, including go/no go gauge. All other finishers will be checked at random.

         Driver may put up $20 to protest any driver’s restrictor plate for inspection,  $100 to remove intake to

         check for roller cam and lifters, and restrictor plate, or $200 to check for Cubic Inch [Remove Head], Cam

         and lifters, and restrictor plate 

         Starter may be stock or after market and may relocate .  May use stock or front belt driven fuel pump

         No belt drives off of or out of bell housing

         CLAIM: $3025          $3000 to owner       $25 to wrecker           Claimed driver may swap

         Any driver who refuses to sale, swap, or obey tear down rules, will lose all money for said event, and lose

          all season points for year to date of infraction.

 

Transmission: Same as UMP,  EXCEPT,  No belt driven equipment out of bell housing

 

Bodies: No gremlin type bodies.  Rear roof section of body must look like UMP # 1, 2, 3, or 4.

 

Tires:  SRS Good Year Spec tire or A-Hoosier --- May Sip – NO SOFTING OF TIRES

           Bead Lock Rim allowed on all 4 wheels, except when you have moved up to UMP Modified for a special

 

NOTE:

A.     = Top five cars are subject to engine check after finish of feature.

B.     = Any [Driver Only]may put up

        $250 to have any driver’s engine inspected [Head Removed] for cubic inch check including roller

        cam and lifters plus restrictor plate

        $100 to remove intake for cam inspection including restrictor plate   $20 to have restrictor checked

                  Driver putting up the money, may be with Spoon River inspector during time car is inspected.

C.     = If car is legal, said car will get the money.  If car is illegal, than said car will be disqualified

         and protesting driver will get his money back

D.     = Any driver caught cheating, such as roller cam, will lose all money for said event

         and all season points to date.

E.      = Emod cars may remove restrictor plate to run in Modified class for special events. These cars will

                    receive 30 season points towards their class for attending specials.
