The #30 of Rob Bauman, Sr., who started deep in the field in E-Mod Heat #1, jumped to an early lead, but the #1 of Floyd Jordan, Jr., who started last, moved quickly through traffic and was challenging for the lead by lap #2. The #30 of Rob Bauman, Jr. also came into the mix, but spun coming out of turn #2 and was sent to the back. Jordan got a good jump on the restart, and he held on to the lead and scored the win. The #3M of Chris McMahill finished 2nd, followed by Bauman, Jr., and the #64 of Jim Picardi. The #96 of Kirk Anderson jumped to an early lead in E-Mod Heat #2, and Anderson was able to stay out front until the finish. The #7W of Mark Branch moved into to the 2nd spot, followed by the #85E of Oscar Everett. The field got pretty stretched out, with no real challenges for position. Anderson took home the checkered flag, followed by Brand, Everett, and the #42 of Tim Bishop.
The #25 of Butch Weisser jumps out to an early lead in Modified Heat #1, but there's a lot of door-to-door racing going on behind him between the #00 of Ed Barth, the #5 of Mike Donaho, the #17W of Jacki Willis, and the #12 of Eddie Bolander. Donaho, Barth, & Willis trade positions throughout the race, which also allows the #12 of Eddie Bolander, who started last, to sneak his way into the picture. With everyone racing for position behind him, Weisser is able to open a pretty comfy lead and he easily scores another win, followed by Ed Barth in 2nd, Mike Donaho in 3rd, and Jacki Willis in 4th. There was a lot of clean door-to-door racing in Modified Heat #2, but not a lot of passing. This race finished exactly the way it started with the #192 of Brian Allen in 1st, the #28 of Phil Schnarr in 2nd, the 317 of Rick Scott, jr. in 3rd, and the #22B of Richie Biswell in 4th.The #26 of JD Beal started on the pole in Modified Heat #3, and out front is where he stayed until the finish. Beal was able to open up a comfy lead with a huge battle for 2nd going on behind him between the #98 of Rick O'Brien, the #48 of Casey Lappin and the #97P of Phil Johns. Beal easily scores the win, followed by Lappin, O'Brien, and Johns.
The #31 of Mark Anderson had the pole position in Modified Heat #4, and was able to stay out front all the way. Coming fast from deep in the pack where the #4T of Tony Hibser and the #M21 of Justin Munson. By lap #3, Munson and Hibser were battling for the 2nd spot, allowing Anderson to open up a BIG lead. Anderson brings home the checkered flag, followed by Munson, Hibser, and the #55 of Doug Cosby. The #31 of Harry Fourdyce may have started Truck Heat #1 in the 3rd spot, but he moved into the lead in a hurry, and stayed out front for the entire race. The #55 of Roger Nelson was also on the move, coming all the way from a last place starting position into 2nd. Fourdyce holds onto the lead for the win, followed by Nelson, the #41 of Tom Wirebaugh, and the #28W of Eric Wisher.Truck Heat #2 started with the #30 of Gerald Carter in the back, but he didn't stay there long. Carter moved through traffic in a hurry and was up to the 2nd position by lap #2. The #28 of Ron Wilson, who started 3rd, made his way through traffic and moved into the lead early. Wilson was able to stay out front and score the win. Carter finished 2nd, followed by the #8 of Dave Collins, and the #88 of Dave Collins. Late Model Heat #1 pole sitter, the #11 of Brad Denney, was able to open up a BIG lead with the #30 of Rob Bauman and the #10M of Chad Pratt racing each other for the 2nd position, and the #45 of Dwayne Walter and the #25K of Bill Kettering, Jr. battling for 4th. Denney easily scores the win, followed by Bauman, Pratt, and Walters. The #M1 of Dale Munson got out to an early lead in Late Model Heat #2, with some great door to door acing for 2nd going on behind him between the #F13 of Dawn Mennel, the #29J of Lindell Jewell, and the #M40 of Scott May. With all the racing for position going on behind him, Munson is able to open up a nice lead for himself and bring home the checkered flag. Jewell comes in 2nd, literally "by a nose", with May in 3rd, and Mennel in 4th.
The #00 of Steve Harper may started in the 4th spot in Pro Street Heat #1, but by lap #1, he had already moved up and into the lead. With the #10 of Kevin Lane and #31 of Pat Knox fighting for 2nd, Harper is able to open up a pretty comfortable lead and he easily scores the win. Lane wins the battle for 2nd, followed by Knox in 3rd, and the #85E of Coy Cooley in 4th. The #C27 of Jim Carter started on the pole in Pro Street Heat #2, and stayed WAY out front the entire race. The #31K of Ken Gresham, and the #81K of Mark Ross, who started all the way in the back, had a good battle going on for 2nd place, which allowed Carter to open up a BIG lead. Carter easily scores the win, followed by Gresham, Ross, and the #12 in 4th.
The #01 of Rick Diegel gets up front for an early lead in Hobo Heat Race #2, but the #711 of Kelly Pritchard and the #77T of Willie Heinz are moving up through traffic in a hurry. Pritchard is able to make the pass to take the lead, with Heinz right on his back bumper. Pritchard holds on for the win, followed by Heinz in 2nd, Diegel in 3rd, and the #35 of Josh Smith in 4th. The #77 of Cliff Howard gets a good jump on the start of Hobo Heat Race #3 and moves out to an early lead, and the #27 of Lonnie Stone is able to move into a comfy 2nd place position. No real challenges for position throughout the race. Howard scores the win, followed by Stone in 2nd, the #64 of Curtis Link in 3rd, and the #99X in 4th.Modified Semi Feature, which was a 10-lap event, was next on the agenda. The #12 of Eddie Bolander started on the pole, and that's where "Fast Eddie" stayed until the #42 of Matt Smith was finally able to get under him on lap #4. Bolander wasn't giving up though, taking the lead back from Smith the next time around. Lots of good door-to-door racing going on between the #69 of Randy Stuber, the #88 of Steve David, and the #J12 of Jason Wagner for the 3rd spot. These guys were racing each other HARD, because they know that only the top 4 will advance to the feature. Smith was all over the back bumper of Bolander, but Bolander was able to hold him off and bring home the checkered flag. Matt Smith finishes 2nd, followed by Jason Wagner in 3rd, and Steve David in 4th. The E-Mod Feature started with the #7W of Mark Branch on the pole, but the #96 of Kirk Anderson and the #1 of Floyd Jordan, Jr. were moving up towards the front in a hurry. Branch got sideways coming out of turn #4 early in the race, and Jordan with nowhere to go, made contact with Branch and allowed Anderson to quickly move into the lead. The #94 of Bobby Schnarr gets a good run on lap #6 to move under Jordan and into the 2nd position, but his brother, the #25 of Phil Schnarr, who started all the way back in 12th, was all over his bumper and fighting for the position in a couple more laps. The #M17 of Brent Munson, who started way back in 15th spot, was moving up fast and into the race for 5th by lap #11. Jordan got into the back of the race leader, Anderson, in turns 1 & 2, and was sent to the back on the caution. Phil Schnarr moves in to the 2nd spot on the restart, and Munson gets a GREAT jump and moves into the 3rd position on the restart. Phil Schnarr tries both high and low to get around Anderson on the restart, but he can't make the pass. Anderson scores another Feature win, followed by Phil Schnarr in 2nd, Brent Munson in 3rd, the #30 of Rob Bauman, Sr. in 4th, and Bobby Schnarr in 5th.The Modified Feature started with the #28 of Phil Schnarr on the pole, who stayed out front for the first few laps, but he had a lot of company up front by lap #4. The #17 of Rick Scott, Jr., the #00 of Ed Barth, the #192 of Brian Allen, and the #26 of JD Beal were all working their way towards the front to challenge for the top positions. Scott started challenging Barth for the lead by lap #11, and by lap #12 was able to make the pass and take over the lead. Scott was able to open up a BIG lead with everyone fighting for position behind him. Allen was able to maneuver his way through traffic and take over the 2nd spot, but closing in quickly was the #12 of Eddie Bolander who started all the way back in the 17th position. Rick Scott, Jr. had no problem holding the lead and taking home the checkered flag. Brian Allen brought home a strong 2nd place finish, followed by Ed Barth, Phil Schnarr, and Eddie Bolander. The #30 of Gerald Carter started 4th in the Thunder Truck feature, but by the time he reached the start-finish line on lap #1, he was in the lead. The #28 of Ron Wilson, the #28W of Eric Wisher, the #55 of Roger Nelson, and the #8 of Dave Collins were all battling for the 2nd position, which allowed Carter to open up to a HUGE lead. Nelson is able to move into the 2nd spot, leaving some great door-to-door racing for 3rd between Wilson and Collins. Once again, Gerald Carter brings home the checkered flag with a BIG advantage over the rest of the field. Roger Nelson finishes 2nd, followed by Ron Wilson in 3rd, and the #8 of Dave Collins in 4th. Eric Wisher was running in 5th but took a HARD hit into the wall coming down the front stretch for the checkered flag, and allows the #77 of Jeff Reedy to finish 5th.The #F13 of Dawn Mennel jumps out to an early lead in the Late Model Feature, but the #M40 of Scott May is all over her back bumper. Scott gets around Mennel and wastes no time opening up a BIG lead for himself. Racing for the 2nd position, the #29J of Lindell Jewel is able to pass Mennel, and coming right behind him is the #11 of Brad Denney and the #68 of Lance Alcorn. The top 4 positions get pretty spread out half way through the race, with the only battle for position going on in the 5th spot between Mennel and the #30 of Rob Bauman. Once again, Scott "Scooter" May "checks out" on the rest of the field, and easily brings home another checkered flag. Lindell Jewel, who was running a strong 2nd, makes contact with a lap car and gets turned around before getting to the start finish line, and several cars are able to take advantage and move up a spot for the finish. Brad Denney comes in 2nd, Lance Alcorn finishes 3rd, and Dawn Mennel is 4th. The #6 of Scott Wallace got a good jump on the start of the Pro Street Feature, but the #81K of Mark Ross was moving up through traffic in a hurry to challenge Wallace for the lead. Ross is able to get around Wallace on the high side coming out of turn #4. Another car moving up in a hurry was the #C27 of Gerald Carter, coming from a 8th place start all the way up to 4th by a lap #2 caution. Caution came out on lap #11 when Carter spins coming out of turn #4 and gets sent to the back. The #31K of Ken Gresham has been moving up through traffic, sitting in the 3rd position on the restart, with the #00 of Steve Harper in 4th and the #18 of Terry Pratt up to 5th. Gresham gets around Turnbull for 2nd on the restart, but the caution comes out again on lap #13 for Harper spinning. This race has been plagued by cautions, and we're running out of time, so the flagman shows them the yellow and checkered flags as they line them back up for the restart. Gresham tries to get around Ross for the lead, but Ross holds him off and brings home another win. Ken Gresham finishes 2nd, Tom Turnbull in 3rd, Kevin Lane in 4th, and Jim Carter in 5th.The #77 of Cliff Howard may have started 3rd in the Hobo Feature, but by turns #1 & #2, he had moved his way into the lead, followed by the #77T of Willie Heinz, and the #711 of Kelly Pritchard. By now the track is VERY dry and VERY slick, and the cars are sliding all over, so these guys really have their hands full, and we see an unusually high number of caution flags. Howard gets a good jump on the restarts, with the #5 of Danny Glover, who started all the way back in 14th, battling behind him for 2nd with Pritchard and Heinz, and the #8 of Clay Wisher and the #27 of Lonnie Stone right behind them dueling over the 5th position. Pritchard is able to get around Howard for the lead, and he keeps the #711 out front and scores the win. Cliff Howard finishes 2nd, followed by Danny Glover in 3rd, Willie Heinz in 4th, and Lonnie Stone in 5th.
